Our History

Bavaria’s success today is a result of hard work and dedication that started almost 100 years ago.

  • 1923

    Bavaria-Feuerlöschgeräte-Apparatebau was established.‎

  • 1942

    A larger factory was bought in Obernzell, and staffed with 50 workers.‎

  • 1948

    After the war, a bigger factory was built and the number of employees reached 150. In addition, ‎the company began to have agents all over Germany.‎‎

  • 1971

    Bavaria Egypt was established as a limited partnership between Dr. Nader Riad and Mr. Helmut Loos the majority owner of Bavaria in Germany.

  • 1979

    Bavaria Free-Zone was established. ‎‎‎

  • 1992

    Bavaria Egypt S.A.E was transformed into a stock company. At that time, the capital had ‎increased ten times compared to what it had been since its foundation. Moreover, the ‎number of employees grew to 150.‎‎‎‎

  • 1996

    Bavaria Alarm was established with the objective of providing fire detection, alarm and ‎automated extinguishing systems. ‎‎‎‎

  • 1999

    Bavaria in Egypt and Bavaria in Germany merged by both becoming part of Bavaria Holding

  • 2011

    The operation of Bavaria first fully automated high dark warehouse logistics center with a height of 28 meters and 5000 pallet capacity.

  • 2013

    The opening of the new German southern regional center for training and service in Nuremberg.

  • 2017

    Bavaria Holding expands in the field of waste management.

  • 2018

    The operation of Bavaria’s latest fire cabinets unmanned and automated production facility.

  • 2020

    Bavaria Holding expands in the field of steel fabrications and the production of steel pipes.

  • 2022

    Bavaria expands in supporting its customers with a full range of fire fighting trucks in joint cooperation with one of Europe’s leading partners

  • 2024

    Bavaria plant in Germany goes green by relying on solar power to cover 70% of their power needs.

  • 2026

    Bavaria expands its dark automated warehouse logistics centers to three with the introduction of robots in the latest one.

  • Today

    Bavaria Holding is a prime fire fighting solutions manufacturer with three plants in Europe and the Middle East with an excellent team of nearly 1100 member.
