The 18th symposium of the VBBD e.V. on the 13th and 14th of May 2019 – where BAVARIA has participated as an exhibitor.
Since 2001, the training and also the further education of the fire protection officers, has been explicitly described in the related guidelines. The course contents, which are described in the guideline, state that it should provide a minimum level of knowledge of the fire protection officer about his tasks and activities.
Knowledge is taught by teachers on the basis of teaching objectives. Lectures are given in the form of a syllabus, the teacher himself has no influence on it.
Everything, which was learned, is checked in written exams.
However, the fire protection officer must also be able to apply and implement his theoretical expertise in the form of consultancy for contractor. As part of the regular review and revision of the guideline work, a change is taking place: Competencies combine knowledge and action.
