Within the strategy context of deepening local manufacturing, the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), Lt. Gen. Hamdy Weheba, along a delegation of several AOI department managers, have visited the Bavaria factory complex, located within the Gesr El Suez Industrial Zone.
The programme of the visit started with an open discussion about the status of national industry and the different ways to strengthen local manufacturing, followed by a visit of the production premises and ended with a business lunch along talks. The visitors examined the production lines in addition to the welding & handling applications using robotic systems, that are employed for the first time in Egypt and the Middle East. Dr. Eng. Nader Riad, Chairman of Bavaria Egypt, also pointed out that this type of production lines is the first of its kind to be used in the field of heavy fire extinguishers worldwide.
