Nov. 16—BERLIN —Dozens of firefighters were battling a large fire at a Berlin underground station late Sunday, where emergency services say an unknown number of people have been injured

The blaze engulfed the roof of Onkel Toms Huette station in the city’s Zehlendorf district after first breaking out at a shop by the station, according to a spokesman for the city’s fire brigade.
Several nearby homes may have to be evacuated, the spokesman said.
The emergency services said they expected efforts to control the blaze to continue into the night and that at least 90 firefighters were at the scene.
