Cutter

Core Cutters

Benefits :

Holmatro New Car Technology (NCT) cutters are specially designed to cut new car constructions.
They are available for CORE systems with pump and hose or in Greenline battery-driven versions.

All our NCT cutters are standard supplied with:
Unique blade design. The U-shaped blades on the NCT cutters are specially designed to surround the material and pull it in into the cutting recess, where it is cut at the strongest point of the cutter.

i-Bolt Technology
A flat central bolt construction squeezing the blades together directly (no blade holder in between!) and more tightly. This minimizes blade separation and maximizes cutting performance.

LED lighting
Integrated in the carrying handle.
All 4000 series NCT cutters are equipped with 4 LED lights
All 5000 series NCT cutters are equipped with 6 LED lights

5000 series cutters
Our 5th generation of NCT cutters are lighter than ever, without any concessions on performance. Some important features and benefits are:

Lightweight
Weight reduction thanks to new materials, component integration and intelligent design
Easy to carry and handle, reducing physical burden

Ergonomic carrying handle
New design increases operator comfort in various working positions

Optimized cutting edge
Durability meets performance. We have optimized the cutting edge of our NCT blades for a long blade life and a superior cutting performance on modern cars.

Inclined cutter CU 5050 i
This cutter has a unique inclined cutter jaw for additional ergonomics at various applications, such as cutting the roof or the rocker panel. Battery Cutters

Features:

Inclined Cutter
When it comes to developing new rescue tools, Holmatro does not only focus on performance.
Ergonomics and ease of use are equally important. After all it’s the rescuer working with these tools who we should enable to save lives in the quickest and easiest way possible. By observing our customers during rescue equipment fi eld tests and by asking their feedback, our R&D department gets new ideas for the development of such solutions. This is also what happened with the Inclined Cutter.

Optimal ergonomics
Some cutting procedures in vehicle rescue put a physical burden on the operator. Think of cutting a truck cabin or the roof of a car, when you need to lift the tool high up. Or applications that force you to bend over deeply, like cutting the rocker panel. Where lighter tools significantly ease the burden, the Inclined Cutter eliminates it! Simply put the angled jaw in the right position for optimal ergonomic cutting.

More working space
In addition, the unique design of this cutter leaves more space for movement of the tool towards the car, e.g. when making a relief cut in the A-pillar. Tool repositioning will be far less required, so rescuers can work quicker and easier. And with a carrying handle that goes all-around, you can always use this cutter in the most favorable position, at all sides of the car.
